O senador Acir ­Gurga­cz (PDT<\/span>-RO) afirmou que a Comissão de Agricultura e Reforma Agrária  realizará no dia 24 uma audiência pública sobre dois projetos que tratam da Lei Geral do Cooperativismo.<\/p>\n

De acordo com ele, um ponto fundamental de divergência entre as duas propostas, que precisa ser resolvido, diz respeito à definição do ato cooperativo.<\/p>\n

Ele explicou que, enquanto o PLS 153\/07, de Eduardo Suplicy (PT-SP), define o ato cooperativo como sendo “aquele praticado entre a cooperativa e seu cooperado ou entre cooperativas associadas”, o PLS 3\/07, do então senador Osmar Dias, equipara ao ato cooperativo “os negócios auxiliares ou meios, indispensáveis à consecução dos objetivos sociais”.<\/p>\n

De acordo com Acir Gurgacz, o fortalecimento do cooperativismo ajudaria o Brasil a enfrentar a crise financeira internacional.<\/p>\n
